Is Chicken Biryani is a Healthy Eating Diet?

Yes, of course………… It comes under healthy food recipe, if it cooked at home with fresh and proper eating method. However, it is very easily to cook at home by simply following certain tips such as:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (pieces) : 1Kg
  • Basmati Rice (washed and soaked for 30 min) : 500 gm
  • Garam Masala (whole) : 4 tbsp
  • Garam Masala Powder : 4 tbsp
  • Butter : 50 grams
  • Garlic (chopped) : 4 tbsp
  • Onions (sliced) : 1 cup
  • Ginger (chopped) : 4 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder : 1 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder : 3 tbsp
  • Healthy eating diet Oil : 5 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder : 2 tbspS
  • Curd (yogurt) : 2 cup
  • Tomato (chopped) : 3/4 cup
  • Bay Leaves : 4

For the marinade:

  • Red Chili Powder : 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger (chopped) : 2 tbsp
  • Garlic (chopped) : 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala Powder : 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder : 1 tbsp
  • Curd (yogurt) : 1 cup
  • Salt

Method:

  • First, put all the ingredients of the marinade in a bowl and stir them well.
  • Now, add chicken pieces to it and keep aside for half an hour.
  • Now boil water and add bay leaf, rice and half of the whole Garam Masala.
  • Cook the rice until ¾ is done, drain and keep it aside
  • Again, heat oil in a pan and remaining whole Garam Masala.
  • However, allow it to crackle, add sliced onions and cook it till light golden brown.
  • Add 1 tbsp of the remaining Garam Masala and all the remaining ingredients and tomatoes, but excluding rice. Remember, Garam Masala should be necessary in rice as it make it the Healthy food recipes.
  • Cook them for 5 minutes and combine marinated chicken with it.
  • Cook until the chicken is tender.
  • After that, place alternate layers of chicken and rice.
  • Now sprinkle some saffron, butter and remaining Garam Masala powder in between the layers and also on the top.
  • Carefully end it with the rice layer topped with rose water and saffron.
  • Seal and Cover it with an aluminum foil.
  • Cook it further more on low flame for at least 10-12 minutes.
  • Well, Chicken Biryani is ready to serve and it becomes a healthy eating diet for you.
